Anuna is a world re-nown vocal ensemble from Dublin, Ireland. Lirico had the honor to sing with Anuna in the summer of 2006 in Dublin, and U-High consistently performs many of Anuna-founder Michael McGlynn's music.



MEN (Male Ensemble Northwest) was founded in 1983. Consisting of 14-16 of the highest calibre directors from the Northwest, this ensemble performs regionally as well as travels to perform at venues such as the American Choral Director's Association National Conference. Mr. Seaton is a part of this ensemble and sings both second tenor and counter-tenor.

The Spokane Area Children's Chorus is not just for children! Members range from ages 6-18, and all voice types are welcome. With over 6 ensembles to choose from, there is a place for your or yours to be a part of this organization. Mr. Seaton is Director of SACC's Boychoir and Cambiata (changing voice).

Filomena Menna is a vocal soloist in Florence, Italy. She will be one of Lirico's guides this summer during their trip to Italy. She is a vocal coach and instructor at Scuola di Musica Il Trillo - Conservatory of Music in Florence.



Chanticleer is one of the few professional choirs in the United States. Based in San Francisco, Chanticleer performs SATB music of the highest calibre and is sought after as one of the premier male ensembles in the world.



Rajaton is based out of Sweden and combines classical a capella with pop and jazz styles. This ensemble is of the highest calibre and has combined with such groups as Abba and Anuna.



Eric Whitacre, one of U-High's favorite composers, has reinvented choral composition with his unique style. A graduate of Jullard Conservatory, Eric's music varies from choral to orchestral to even techno-trance-opera.



Veljo Tormis, composer of "Curse Upon Iron" (see the Concert Choir page to listen) is an Estonian composer who is known for his dynamic and esoteric music that makes powerful and passionate statements, many political and many based on Estonian history and lore.

The Esoterics, based in Seattle, feature new and inventive music by composers such as Eric Banks (director), David Asplin and Donald Skirvin. Eric Banks is also on the faculty at Cornish School of the Arts in Seattle.



Opus 7 is a vocal ensemble based in Seattle and is know for featuring some of the Northwest's best composers and their music.



Reginald Unterseher is known for his beautiful compositions. He is a member of MEN (Male Ensemble Northwest), who performs his works regularly.



Directed by Karen P. Thomas, Seattle Pro Musica delivers outstanding mastery of choral music. This ensemble also plays host to a highly advacned women's ensemble.



Philomela is based out of Finland. This unique and highly accomplished women's ensemble is known for its innovative approach to choral music, engaging the audience with both extreme visuals and choral expertise and precision.
