Become a Donor
and support the choral arts
at University High School


The Valley Choral Parent Association is a non-profit organization set up as a Booster's Club.
This organization, run by parents of students at University High School, is a 501C3 with a current tax ID # and consists of a council that determines the use of funds provided by donors and/or raised through fund-raising events.

If you would like to donate to the U-High Choral Department, you can watch your fiscal support go to work in the lives of students that will directly be affected by your generosity. Specific items that your help will support includes:
  • Scholarships for students to attend educational choir tours.
  • Support with bi-annual International Travel.
  • Needed equipment that will benefit the choral classroom.
  • Enhancement of choral education through new and fresh literature.

You may designate your donation to a specific area in the department, as seen below, or donate to the general fund.

Past major donors include:
Tomlinson Black Valley (Byron Walker, Owner): $10,000 - Designated for help with tour scholarship, both locally and 2006 Ireland Tour
Waybright Family: $2,000 - Designated to purchase a Baby Grand Piano for the choral classroom
Parkes Family and Wagstaff: $3,000 - Designated to purchase a Baby Grand Piano for the choral classroom
UHS General Booster's Club: $5,000 - Designated to purchase new robes and other outfits for students

Not only funds, but also time and support are great ways to donate to the program. If you would like to help by being involved in the classroom or with tours, no amount of time is too small.
